In Vermont, we usually see the first snow in October, and the last snow in May. That means nearly 8 months of winter driving! Getting around in the snow and ice is second nature to some, but it's not for many. Let us help you feel confident when the temperatures drop below 32 degrees. Whether you're a new driver wanting to build some experience on ice & snow or a more experienced driver looking to reboot your winter skills, we have a course that will help, or entertain you!
Looking for something fun and different to try this winter? We have a fun winter driving experience that you won't want to pass up. Sure, this class is held at a driving school so you will probably learn a few things but, this is about getting out and driving in a way that you cannot experience, on legal roads. This winter driving experience at The 4×4 Center Driving School is a great choice for new drivers, teenage drivers, and seasoned drivers alike. While this class is geared more towards fun, the skills we teach are invaluable, and the experience is unforgettable.
The 4x4 Training Center provides a winter driving training that will elevate any driver's skill. For roughly the cost of your collision deductible, participants of this course learn a lifetime of skills in one day, that will make them less likely to be involved in an adverse weather related accident. If someone you know has lost confidence due to an accident, this can be a revitalizing experience for them. A few hours with us can completely change your confidence for a lifetime of winter driving.
This Winter Mobility class is a comprehensive Winter Mobility class that covers both on-road and off-road driving in snow and ice. Day 1 is spent focusing on road orientated skids, slides and higher speed skills. Day 2 focuses on driving in deeper snow on back roads & trails including recovery.
Our winter mobility class prepares drivers for every winter driving condition and, how to be prepared for the unexpected.
